The November 5th general election is now on the books. Donald Trump has won the race to become the 47th U.S. President. He delivered a victory speech before supporters in Florida in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
Complete election results for Georgia and each county statewide are posted on the Secretary of State’s website at www.sos.ga.gov.
Trump won in Georgia with 50.75 % of the votes, compared to the 48.51 % that was received by Kamala Harris. He got the most votes in Floyd County with 70.73 %, compared to her 28.72 %.
In other contested races of local interest – Marjorie Taylor Greene was re-elected to her District 14 seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Eddie Lumsden and Katie Dempsey were re-elected to the state House.
