It’s time for Friday night lights in Northwest Georgia as area high school football teams take the field for the 11th week of play in the 2024 regular season!
WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM have coverage of Darlington football again this year. The Tigers will hit the road to face the Temple Tigers in a Region 6-A D1 game tonight.
Darlington improved to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in region play on the ’24 regular season with a 31-0 win at home over Model last Friday night.
Head football coach Wayne Groves told WLAQ Sports that there are four things that his team needs to do in order to be successful tonight – clean up penalties from last week, win the physical game, make big plays on special teams, and control the football.
