The 2024 Rome International Film Festival will take place from October 31st through November 3rd.
Festivities will kick off with a screening of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” on Halloween at the DeSoto Theatre, enthuses Leanne Cook, RIFF’s
Executive Director. She says admission to that will be free for all.
There will also be a 40th anniversary screening of “Gremlins” at the DeSoto on Halloween night. Zach Galligan, who played Billy, will be in attendance, says Cook.
A Q&A will follow that screening, for which tickets cost $15 each.
RIFF ’24 will additionally feature documentaries, international shorts, panels, Georgia features, and more, according to Cook.
