The Atlanta Hawks opened their 2024-2025 regular season with a 120-116 victory at home over the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night at State Farm Arena.
Trae Young led the charge for Atlanta with 30 points and 12 assists. Onyeka Okongwu had 28 points off the bench.
Cam Thomas led all players in scoring with 36 points for Brooklyn.
The Hawks will remain at home as hosts to the Charlotte Hornets this Friday night. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
