ROME HIGH’S SHUDDERSOME: TALES OF POE BRINGS POE’S WORKS TO LIFE ONSTAGE JUST IN TIME FOR HALLOWEEN

The Rome High Theatre Department invites Poe fans and spooky season lovers alike to, SHUDDERSOME: TALES OF POE, October 22, 23, & 24. This play brings Poe’s works such as The Raven, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Oval Portrait, and more to life on stage through words and movement. Students portray the familiar Poe characters in a way you have never seen before. Set in a Victorian gothic style, Poe’s works shine bright for their rich language and imagery.

The show, written by Linsday Price is a look into the literary world of Poe and the themes held there. The Rome High Theatre troupe, directed by Rome High Theatre teacher Alexis Tyson, will present this piece for One Act Competition. 

Showtimes for SHUDDERSOME: TALES OF POE are Tuesday, October 22, Wednesday, October 23, and Thursday, October 24th at 7:00 pm in the Rome High School Performing Arts Center, located at 1000 Veterans Memorial Highway in Rome. Tickets are $5 for students and staff, and $10 for all others, and will be available at the door as well as online at Romehightheatre.com. All ticket sales directly support the productions and programming of the RHS Theatre Department, which is primarily self-funded.
