The Atlanta Braves secured their seventh straight trip to the MLB postseason with a 3-0 shut out victory over the New York Mets in the teams’ last game of the ’24 regular season on Monday evening at Truist Park.

The Braves will be in San Diego, CA tonight to take on the Padres in Game One of their best-of-three National League Wild Card Series. The first pitch is set for 8:38 pm. Tune into play-by-play coverage from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM; airtime is 7:20 pm.

The Mets clinched a playoff berth with an 8-7 win in the opener of the teams’ regular season-ending double header at Truist Park on Monday.

Atlanta’s Chris Sale was unable to pitch in the finale of the twin bill because of back spasms. He is anticipated to miss the Wild Card Series.
