Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge Home is proud to announce the 2024 Evening at the Museum, presented by Whittington, Jones & Rudert, CPAs. Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 26 and Friday, September 27, 2024, with tours offered both evenings. This year’s tour will focus on the history of the Chieftains house, showcasing the recent extensive renovations. Visitors are encouraged to tour the house at their own pace. Volunteers and staff will be stationed throughout the house providing information on the history of the 200-year-old historic structure and property, as well as highlighting aspects of the renovation. Visitors are free to stay and chat or continue with their tour at their own pace.
Tickets may be purchased at the museum gift shop or online at www.chieftainsmuseum.org/events/evening. Tickets are $35 for general admission, $30 for museum members, or $50 for a patron ticket. There will be hors d’oeuvres available for all visitors and drinks available for purchase. Patron tickets include two (2) complimentary drinks and, for patron tickets purchased prior to September 20, your name listed on signage at the event. Visitors are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance. Event proceeds will be used to support continued restoration and preservation efforts and educational programming on the Chieftains Museum campus.
The event will be held on the Chieftains Museum campus at 501 Riverside Parkway NE, Rome, GA 30161. The event will be from 6pm to 9pm on both Thursday, September 26 and Friday, September 27, 2024.
