The Rome City Board of Education met for a called board meeting on Monday, Aug. 19 at the Central Office Board Room.
The board met to conduct the review for Rome City Schools Superintendent Dr. Eric L. Holland.
The board evaluated Dr. Holland on 10 key points, including student achievement, systems of operation and safety, staff development, and performance expectations.
The board finalized the review and approved it with a unanimous vote.
“I’m grateful for the board’s acknowledgment of our shared commitment to bettering our students and schools,” Dr. Holland said. “This evaluation reflects the dedication and hard work of our teachers, staff, students, and community partners. Together, we’ve made significant progress in delivering a high-quality education for all our students, and I look forward to continuing this essential work.”
