A brand new school year has arrived! The first day of the 2024-2025 school year is here for students at the Floyd County Schools, at St. Mary’s Catholic School, and Berry College Elementary & Middle School. Rome City Schools’ classes begin on Friday.
Floyd County Sheriff Dave Roberson has a word for any driver who may be passing through a school zone in the coming days – be patient!
Classes begin on Tuesday, August 6th for Unity Christian School and Monday, August 19th for Darlington School.
