GEORGIA’S ROME PHOTO EXHIBITION AND OPENING AWARD RECEPTION TO BE HELD THIS SATURDAY

The public is invited to the opening of the 2024 Georgia’s Rome Photo Exhibition to be held at the Rome Area History Center with an awards reception on Saturday, July 27 at 11 a.m. The show will run through Saturday, August 31, 2024.
Photographers whose work was selected for the exhibition include: Matthew Thomas Barnes, Frank Cardamone, Grant Drezek, Tim Ford, Amanda Hamilton, Kendra Hawkins, Lori D Myers, Mallory Rampley, Brett Rush, Morgan Sidwell, Ryan Smith, and John Tortoso
The Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism is proud to partner with the Rome Georgia Photography Club again for this year’s exhibition. Master photographers from the club juried the exhibition and will select the winners of the show to be announced at the opening reception. 
All photos in the exhibition will be eligible to win prizes.  First Place will receive a $100 Gift Card. 2nd Place will receive a $75 Gift Card and 3rd Place will receive a $50 Gift Card. Honorable Mention winners will each receive a $25 gift card. A $75 gift card will be presented to the People’s Choice winner. All prize winners and the People’s Choice Winner will select a gift card from any one of Georgia’s Rome Hospitality Member businesses. 
Photographers whose work is selected for the exhibition have the option to sell their work displayed at the exhibition and will retain 100% of the total sale.
Photography will be showcased throughout the first floor exhibit space of the center. The Rome Area History Center is located at 305 Broad Street. Admission is free and the center is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. To learn more about the exhibition, visit RomeGeorgia.org/Exhibit.
