The Rome Emperors were edged by the Winston Salem Dash by a final score of 7-6 on Thursday evening in the third meeting of a six-game set in Winston Salem, NC. Rome leads that series by 2-1. Game four is slated for tonight at 7 pm.
The Emperors’ series at Winston-Salem will continue through this Sunday to wrap up the month of June. The team will return to their home field in Rome for a three-game set with the Bowling Green Hot Rods next Monday through Wednesday.
