The 40th annual Cave Spring 4th of July Parade is scheduled for next Thursday morning at 9 am.
Christa Jackson, organizer, encourages all area residents to come and watch the parade.
Want to be in the parade? Jackson says to ‘just show up’! Participants should line up between 8:15 am to 8:45 am. Motorized vehicles and horses will line up on Perry Farm Road, while all walkers will gather at Cave Spring Outdoor Equipment over at the Old Depot on Alabama Street. The parade will best be viewed at the Town Square and along Alabama Street.
Cave Spring’s Liberty Day Celebration will take place this Saturday and will feature pageants, a poker run, live music, and colorful fireworks at the end of the night. Jackson says that the fireworks display may be viewed throughout downtown Cave Spring.
