Crabbe, a proud graduate of Pepperell High School, is returning to the Floyd County Schools community after many years of professional growth and experience.
Upon graduating from PHS, Crabbe obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of West Georgia and then began his career as a special education teacher at Model High School in 1997.
After his successful tenure as a special education teacher, Crabbe transitioned to teaching science at both Trion and Model Middle. During this time, Crabbe earned both a master’s degree from Jacksonville State University and a specialist degree from the University of Alabama.
Crabbe’s expertise and leadership skills did not go unnoticed, leading him to obtain an administrative role as an assistant principal in 2006 and as a principal in 2010 in Trion City Schools where he stayed until 2021.
Recently, Crabbe has served in leadership roles in the Rome City school district.
With his extensive experience in the education field and his deep understanding of the needs of students, Crabbe is well-positioned to lead the Student Services department at Floyd County Schools.
