ATLANTA BRAVES TO HOST SAN DIEGO PADRES THROUGH MONDAY AT TRUIST PARK, LISTEN ON WLAQ

The Atlanta Braves had a scheduled off day on Thursday and will continue their current seven-game homestand this evening with the first of four games versus the San Diego Padres. Max Fried will serve as the starting pitcher for Atlanta, and Matt Waldron will be on the mound for San Diego. First pitch is slated for 7:20 pm at Truist Park. Atlanta enters this series in second place of the National League East with a record of 26-14, while San Diego is in second place of the NL West at 22-24. The teams’ series will continue through Monday afternoon.

The Braves opened this homestand by taking two of three from the Chicago Cubs earlier this week.
