Hampton Inn & Suites and the Family Resource Center are excited to host the 12th Annual “Tee Off Against Child Abuse” Golf Tournament on May 10, 2024. The event has raised thousands of dollars to date to support child abuse prevention programs offered by the Family Resource Center. Teams will play at Stonebridge Golf Club and treated to a full breakfast from Eggs Up Grill as well as lunch from Chick Fil A.
According to event chair Ben Levy, “Children deserve to have safe and stable childhoods. The Family Resource Center supports that by bringing their effective education and support to families. We have a lot of fun each year at this tournament and the funds help continue our child abuse prevention program.” Director Tina Bartleson added that families benefit from good information as well as coaching to help them put that information into practice. She shared a testimonial from a recent program graduate: “You were here when I needed someone the most. You showed me how to be better for my kids.”
Registration for the golf tournament is open through May 8th. Those who cannot play can still support the work of the Family Resource Center by making a donation online at www.frcrome.org or through Venmo by searching charities for @frcrome.
