(Announcement from Floyd County Emergency Management):
Blacks Bluff Road is closed immediately from approximately #2232 to #2391 to repair a recent failure in the road base. Thru traffic should use the Old Bluff Road, except for Commercial Traffic.
All Commercial Traffic should use Cedartown Highway (US 27) and the Southwest Bypass (Ga Loop 1).
The length of the closure is not known at this time, pending further investigation. Floyd County Public Works does not expect the work to be more than a few weeks.
