The Atlanta Braves defeated the Houston Astros by 6-2 on Tuesday night in the middle outing of a three-game series at Minute Maid Park out in Houston, TX. It was the third straight win for Atlanta.
Orlando Arcia got the Braves on the board with a solo home run in the top of the second inning. Arcia drove in another run with a sac fly in the seventh. The Braves scored four runs in the top of the ninth with a two-run ground rule double by Luis Guillorme and a two-run double by Chadwick Tromp. The Astros scored a pair of runs in the bottom of that inning on a home run by Kyle Tucker and an RBI single from Mauricio Dubon, but the Braves held on for the win, again, by a final score of 6-2.
Reynaldo Lopez was Atlanta’s winning pitcher. He gave up four hits, walked one, and struck out seven in six scoreless innings. Raisel Iglesias secured the save. Hunter Brown was charged with the loss for Houston.
