The Atlanta Hawks edged the NBA-leading Boston Celtics by 120-118 on Monday night at State Farm Arena. That marked the second straight victory for Atlanta and brought Boston’s most recent winning streak to an end at nine in a row.
De’Andre Hunter led the Hawks in scoring with 24 points, including a three-pointer with 9.2 seconds remaining in the game.
The top scorer of the night was Jayson Tatum with a total of 37 points for the Celtics.
The Hawks are now 32-39 on the 2023-2024 regular season. They will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night at 7:30 pm.
