ATLANTA HAWKS OPEN WESTERN ROAD TRIP WITH LOSS OUT IN PORTLAND, OR TO THE TRAIL BLAZERS

The Atlanta Hawks commenced a five-game road trip out west with a loss in Portland, OR to the Trail Blazers by the final score of 106-102 in NBA action on Wednesday night.

Dejounte Murray scored a game-high 40 points for the Hawks, who have lost their last two straight games.

Anfernee Simons had 36 points, while DeAndre Ayton had 33 points and 19 rebounds for the Trail Blazers.

The Hawks are now 29-36 on the 2023-2024 regular season. They will head to Utah to take on the Jazz on Friday night at 9:30 pm Eastern.
