The Atlanta Hawks lost at home to the New Orleans Pelicans by 116-103 in NBA action at State Farm Arena on Sunday night. That resulted in a 1-1 split in the two-game season series between the teams.
Bogdan Bogdanovic scored a team-high 25 points for the Hawks, whose most recent winning streak ended at three straight games. Dejounte Murray had 23 points and 11 assists.
Trey Murphy III led all players in scoring with 28 points off the bench for the Pelicans. Zion Williamson had 27 points.
The Hawks are now 29-35 on the 2023-2024 regular season. They will head out west to take on the Portland Trail Blazers this Wednesday night; tip off is set for 10 pm Eastern in Portland, Oregon.
