SEVEN HILLS ROTARY CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT BEGINS ON DECEMBER 15TH, BROADCAST COVERAGE TO BE PROVIDED AGAIN ON WLAQ 1410 AM AND 96.9 FM

Area high school basketball teams will soon compete in the 2023 Seven Hills Rotary Christmas Tournament.

The games will be played on December 15^th, 16^th, and 18^th at Armuchee High School. The tournament will culminate with the championship round in the Cage Center at Berry College on December 19^th.

Broadcast coverage of the tournament will be provided again this year on the airwaves of WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM. WLAQ Sports’ Matt Davis enthuses that it’s fun to be part of this local holiday tradition.

This will be the 70^th annual Christmas Tournament. The season would not be the same without it, attests Davis.

The participating schools in this year’s tournament will include Armuchee, Calhoun, Coosa, Darlington, Model, Pepperell, Rome, Unity Christian, and Woodland.
