The Coosa River Basin Initiative has been celebrating a milestone in 2023 – its 30th anniversary as the Riverkeeper of the upper Coosa River basin. The organization will continue their celebration this Thursday evening at 6 pm with a Membership Party at the Kingfisher Art Company, 7 East 2nd Avenue in Rome.
Jesse Demonbreun-Chapman, Executive Director, enthuses that the Georgia river photography of (former Executive Director) Joe Cook will be on display at the event, which is free and open to the public. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served.
