The Chiaha Harvest Fair will take place at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds in Rome this Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm both days.
The 58th annual event will feature arts and crafts, tasty food, kids’ activities, and live music.
Monica Sheppard, Co-chair, attests that Chiaha is a great place to get a head start on Christmas shopping.
Dogs will be welcome at the event this year. Sheppard hopes that the people (and dogs) that will be in town for Schnauzerfest this weekend will also take some time to hang out at Chiaha – if they are well-behaved.
Admission to the Chiaha Harvest Fair costs $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students, $1 for children age 2 to 12, and free to those under age 2. Proceeds will support the arts and art education in this community.
