The Atlanta Hawks opened their 2023-24 regular season on Wednesday night with a loss in Charlotte, NC to the Hornets by 116-110.
PJ Washington had a game-high 25 points for the Hornets, while Trae Young led the Hawks in scoring with 23 points.
Atlanta’s home opener is scheduled for this Friday night at State Farm Arena versus the New York Knicks with tip off at 7:30 pm.
