IT’S TIME FOR FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, WEEK EIGHT!

It’s time for Friday night lights in Northwest Georgia as area high school football teams take the field for the eighth week of play in the 2023 regular season!

WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM will have coverage of Darlington football tonight as the Tigers host the Chattooga Indians in a Region 7-A Division 1 battle.

Darlington head football coach Wayne Groves says that the Tigers have been working hard to prepare for the school’s Alumni Weekend.

Darlington improved to 2-0 in the region and 4-2 overall with a 49-7 victory at Coosa last Friday night.
