The Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism is excited to announce the Explore Georgia’s Rome Pass, a free mobile pass that rewards residents and visitors for exploring area attractions, shops and restaurants.
The pass is free and instantly delivered via text and email. Participants are rewarded with prizes and coupons as they explore Rome, Cave Springs and Floyd County. There are currently 82 different locations on the pass including attractions, shops and restaurants with new locations and coupons being added.
Passholders also have the chance to win tickets and giveaways just for having the pass! The first giveaway is a pair of free tickets on the Roman Holiday Riverboat Tour on August 6. Anyone who is a passholder will be eligible to win! The winner will be drawn and notified via email and text on August 3, 2023.
Here is how it works: Participants sign up for free with their e-mail address, and mobile phone number. A link is sent to their mobile phone, which opens the passport and directs the user to add the button icon to their home screen, where they can access it any time. There is never anything to download and no bulky apps to take up space on a user’s phone.
“Last year our office launched the Outdoor Pass to help visitors and residents explore our outdoor attractions. We received such great feedback from passholders that we decided to add another pass this year,” said Kristi Kent, director of communications for Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism. “Participants love getting rewarded just for having fun and businesses love seeing new visitors. It’s a win, win for everyone,” added Kent.
