ATLANTA BRAVES AND ROME BRAVES TO RETURN TO ACTION ON FRIDAY NIGHT UPON CONCLUSION OF MLB ALL-STAR BREAK

Major League Baseball’s All-Star break continues another day. The Atlanta Braves will return to action on Friday evening at Truist Park with the first of three interleague games versus the Chicago White Sox. Charlie Morton will be the starting pitcher for Atlanta, and Michael Kopech will be on the mound for Chicago. First pitch is slated for 7:20 pm. The National League East-leading Braves entered the All-Star break with an MLB-best record of 60-29 on the 2023 season.

Atlanta’s weekend set with Chicago will be followed by an off-day Monday, then a three-game series with the Arizona Diamondbacks at Truist Park next Tuesday night through Thursday.
