The Rome Braves beat the Hickory Crawdads 3-1 on Wednesday night in the second outing of a six-game set in Hickory, North Carolina. It allowed Rome to take a 2-0 lead in the series. Game three is set for today at 11 am.
The Braves will continue the series in Hickory through Sunday. They will be back on their home field in Rome as hosts to the Greenville Drive next week.
