HAWKS BEAT SPURS IN DOUBLE OVERTIME

The Atlanta Hawks beat the San Antonio Spurs 134-129 in double overtime on Thursday night in San Antonio, Texas, ending a two-game losing skid for the Hawks.

Trae Young, Clint Capela, and Bogdan Bogdanovich each had 28 points for the Hawks. Young also had 12 assists, and Capela had 17 rebounds. Demar DeRozan scored a game-high 36 points for the Spurs.

The Hawks improved to an even 24-24 on the 2020-21 regular season. They will wrap up their current eight-game road trip with a stop in New Orleans to face the Pelicans tonight. Tip off is set for 9 pm Eastern.
