Fannin County High School’s Lady Rebels and Model High School’s Blue Devils emerged as the champions in the GHSA Region 7-AA girls’ and boys’ basketball tournaments on Thursday night at Chattooga High School.
Fannin County nabbed the girls’ title with a victory over the Chattooga Lady Indians (on their home court) 68-39, while Model edged Chattooga’s Indians 55-54 in the boys’ championship game.
