Chattooga High School’s girls’ and boys’ basketball teams are headed for the championship round of the Region 7-AA Tournament following wins on their home court in the semifinals on Wednesday.
The Lady Indians advanced in the tournament with a 54-45 victory over Dade County. They will proceed to the championship game against Fannin County, which beat Gordon Central on Wednesday night by a final score of 57-20.
Chattooga’s Indians are bound for the boys’ championship game after picking up a 58-52 win over Coosa to conclude the semifinal play for the night. They will face Model, who emerged as the victors over Dade County 70-52 earlier in the evening.
