The Rome International Film Festival will kick off its 17th year by hosting an in-person screening of the film “Electric Jesus” featuring Brian Baumgartner, best-known for his portrayal of Kevin in the hit TV series “The Office”, RIFF officials announced on Wednesday. Baumgartner and director Chris White, as well as other cast and crew from the film, will attend the screening, slated for Thursday, November 12th at 7 pm at the Rome City Auditorium. A Q&A with the director and cast members will follow the film screening. Masks must be worn; tickets are limited due to social distancing.
A press conference with cast and crew will be held on Friday, November 13th, also at the City Auditorium.
The remainder of RIFF ’20 will take place virtually Thursday, November 12th through Sunday, November 22nd.
Tickets for the virtual festival are now available at a cost of $25 each and can be purchased online at www.riffga.com. A ticket includes access to all of the films in the virtual platform for that 10-day screening period. Tickets for the in-person screening of “Electric Jesus” are $15. Individuals who wish to give additional support to the festival may do so via the purchase of patron passes, which are $150 each.
