UNITED WAY OF ROME AND FLOYD COUNTY TO KICK OFF FUND-RAISING CAMPAIGN WITH A GOLF OUTING

The United Way of Rome and Floyd County will kick off their 2018 fund raising campaign next Friday, September 15th with a Golf Outing at the Stonebridge Golf Course in Rome.

Money raised from the outing will go towards the organization’s annual campaign to support 18 human service agencies in the community.  Golfers may participate at a cost of $100 per two-person team, states Brooks Smith, Volunteer Coordinator.

Registration is scheduled to open at 8 am.  The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 9 am.  Participants will treated to a continental breakfast before the event and a barbecue lunch afterwards.
