Written by Matt Davis on October 4, 2018. Posted in News/Weather

Greater Rome welcomes visitors from around the world this week who are in in town (or will be in town) for the Going Caching 2018 Geo-caching Mega-Event.

Kristi Kent, Director of Communications for the Greater Rome Convention and Visitors Bureau, says that this geocaching event will offer, free of charge, fun for the entire family.  More details are available at www.geocaching.com and www.goingcaching.com.

Geocaching is a type of outdoors hide and seek game in which GPS receivers are used to locate ‘caches’.  Going Caching 2018 got underway on Wednesday and continues through Sunday with the main event set for Saturday.
