ROME INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY

The 2012 Rome International Film Festival is up and running!  The Festival got underway last night with the Opening Night Film “American Songwriter”, a biopic of songwriter Danny Darst.  The film’s director, Michael Altman, says he is glad to be a part of the Rome International Film Festival.  He adds that his film was made for a festival like this one.

The Rome International Film Festival will continue thru tomorrow night with films to be shown at the DeSoto Theatre and at the Rome Area History Museum.

The closing night film, “Heathens & Thieves”, will be screened tomorrow night at 7 pm at the DeSoto Theatre.  The closing night gala will be held at Rose Hill Manor at 312 East 4th Avenue.

Tickets for the RIFF are $2 for students and $6 for adults.  A day pass is available for $25.  You can get a weekend pass for $50.  For more information, visit www.riff.tv.
