ROME CITY COMMISSION TO MEET THIS EVENING

Written by Matt Davis on June 4, 2012. Posted in News/Weather

The Rome City Commission will meet in regular session this evening.  They’ll meet in a caucus session at 5 pm, which will be followed by their regular meeting at 6:30 pm at City Hall on Broad Street in downtown Rome.  Commissioners are expected to decide tonight whether or not they will uphold the recommendation from Rome’s Alcohol Control Commission for three-day suspensions of four stores caught selling to minors during a recent undercover operation by Rome police.  Those stores include Tazo Food Mart, Coastal Food Mart, Kroger and Super Food Market.  Take a look at the Rome City Commission’s full agenda online at www.romefloyd.com.
