ROME BRAVES GET BACK TO WINNING WAYS WITH VICTORY OVER GREENVILLE DRIVE IN SERIES OPENER IN SC

The Rome Braves got back to their winning ways and ended a five game losing streak with a 3-2 victory over the Greenville Drive last night in the opener of a three game series in Greenville, South Carolina.

With last night’s win, the Braves increase their lead in the South Atlantic League’s Southern Division to three and a half games with a 30-19 record so far for the second half of the 2012 season.

The Braves will face the Drive again tonight at 7:05 pm in Greenville, South Carolina.  The game will be broadcast on 95.7 FM The Ridge and www.theridge957.com.  Rome Braves radio voice JB Smith will go on the air with the pre-game show at 6:50 pm.

The Braves’ series in Greenville will continue thru tomorrow night.  Then, they’ll be back home at State Mutual Stadium to host the Lexington Legends in a four game series this Thursday night thru Sunday evening.  Get tickets at www.romebraves.com.
