RIDGE FERRY FILMS EVENT POSTPONED UNTIL SEPTEMBER 23

Written by Matt Davis on August 11, 2017. Posted in News/Weather

Due to ground saturation and inclement weather, the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Department has made the decision to postpone their Ridge Ferry Films event that was scheduled for this evening until September 23rd.

Sarah Grimes, program coordinator for the department, states, “We ask that the public continue their support for our community events, and mark their calendars for the new date.  Unfortunately, the weather is something we have no control over and hope that it cooperates with us on our next date.”

Everything that had been planned for tonight will happen on September 23rd.  There will be a screening of the movie “Cars” in addition to food trucks, car ‘characters’, vendors, inflatables, face-painting and more.
