ROME BRAVES MISS SWEEP OF ASHEVILLE WITH LOSS TO TOURISTS IN NC

Written by Matt Davis on June 25, 2012. Posted in Sports

The Rome Braves lost to the Asheville Tourists 4-1 in the final game of a four game series in Asheville, North Carolina yesterday.  The good news is that the Braves picked up three wins over the Tourists to kick off the second half of the 2012 season prior to yesterday’s loss.  Not bad for a team that finished the first half of the season in last place of the Southern Division of the South Atlantic League, especially since those wins were taken from the Tourists, who were the division’s first half leader.
