ONE COMMUNITY UNITED AIMS TO UNITE LOCALS AT ONE TABLE ON SEPTEMBER 24TH

Written by Matt Davis on August 29, 2017. Posted in News/Weather

Rome-based One Community United aims to bring locals together to dine and enjoy open conversation on the evening of Sunday, September 24th at the first-ever One Table community dinner to be held on the pedestrian bridge between the Town Green next to The Forum and West Third Avenue.

Rick Stevenson, one of the event’s organizers, says that One Table, which is scheduled to take place from 6 pm until 8 pm, is intended to bridge divides in the community by bringing members together for a meal.

Tickets are $100, which includes two meals for the donor and a third meal for a guest to be invited by One Community United.

Stevenson hopes that there will be diverse representation at the event, from local law enforcement to business owners and everyone in between.

To purchase tickets, send an email to info@onecommunityunited.org.  For more information about One Table or about One Community United, visit www.onecommunityunited.org or check out the organization’s page on Facebook.
