MINOR MASTERFUL IN ATLANTA BRAVES’ VICTORY OVER COLORADO ROCKIES AT TURNER FIELD

Written by Matt Davis on September 6, 2012. Posted in Sports

The Atlanta Braves defeated the Colorado Rockies 1-0 in game three of a four game series last night at Turner Field.  Braves starter Mike Minor got the win after allowing just one hit in seven innings of work.  Craig Kimbrel got the first multi-inning save of his career last night.
The only run in last night’s game came for the Braves in the bottom of the fourth when Chipper Jones scored on a throwing error by Rockies shortstop Josh Rutledge.

The Braves will close out their series with the Rockies (and a seven game home stand) this afternoon at 12:10 pm at Turner Field.  The game will not be broadcast on the AM 1410 WLAQ, as we will be airing Rush Limbaugh at that time and are under contractual agreement to not preempt Rush.
