LOCAL NON-PROFITS SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN NABBING $25,000 GRANTS FROM STATE FARM

Written by Matt Davis on August 14, 2019. Posted in News/Weather

A pair of local non-profits, Elevation House and the Exchange Club’s Family Resource Center, have been selected out of a nationwide pool of 2,000 other non-profits to participate in State Farm’s Neighborhood Assist program.  Via this program, 200 non-profits across the US are competing for ‘votes’; the top 40 agencies will each receive a $25,000 grant, according to a joint release by Elevation House and the Exchange Club’s Family Resource Center.

Voting is now open and continues through August 23rd at 11:59:59 pm online at www.neighborhoodassist.com.  Individuals may vote up to 10 times a day (or split votes between the two).

Elevation House is aimed at ending social and economic isolation for adults living with mental illness.  The goal of the Exchange Club Family Resource Center is to prevent child abuse.
