LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL TEAMS BEGIN QUEST FOR A STATE TITLE THIS WEEKEND

In high school basketball, the Region 7-AA champion Model Lady Blue Devils will begin their quest for a state title tonight as they face Temple at home in the first round of the GHSA state playoffs.  Tip off is set for 6 pm at Model High School.  The game will be broadcast on 95.7 FM The Ridge.  You can listen online at www.theridge957.com or via the TuneIn app on your mobile device.

WLAQ AM 1410 will have coverage of Darlington’s basketball teams in opening round action of the Class A Private playoffs on Saturday. The Lady Tigers are scheduled to face Athens Academy at 3 pm, while the Tigers will take on Stratford Academy at 4:30 pm at the Huffman Center on the campus of Darlington School.  Listen online – www.wlaq1410.com.
