KING NAMED INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE SEXUAL ASSAULT CENTER OF NORTHWEST GEORGIA

The Board of Directors for the Sexual Assault Center of Northwest Georgia has appointed Kimberly King as interim executive director of the Center, as of July 10th

King has been employed by the center since 2011.  She most recently served as director of programs and services.  She is also a victim advocate and helps with marketing efforts.  In her early years at the center, she served as a legal advocate. She holds a BS in Child and Family Development from University of Georgia and an MBA from Shorter University. 

Tannika King, SAC Board member and spokesperson, indicates, “Kimberly’s tenure, experience, strong relationships in the community and passion for our cause make her the ideal choice for this interim role, and we are so fortunate that she is able to step in and lead.” Kimberly King replaces Kim Davis, whose employment was terminated by the Board on July 10th
