JUNIOR SERVICE LEAGUE OF ROME IN THE MIDST OF ANNUAL POINSETTIA SALE

Written by Matt Davis on October 30, 2018. Posted in News/Weather

The Junior Service League of Rome once again aims to make the holidays a little brighter for locals and raise funds to provide school supplies to children in need around the community via the annual Poinsettia Sale.

Orders will be taken through Tuesday, November 13th.  The poinsettias range in size from 6”, 8” and 10” blooms and in price from $11, $17 and $22 (these prices include tax).  They come in four different colors – red, ivory, pink and marble.

Proceeds from the Poinsettia Sale will fund League4Learning, the JSL effort to contribute school supplies to Rome and Floyd County schools for students who are in need, along with the Chieftains Museum and other initiatives to improve the lives of local women and children.

Interested parties may order their poinsettias from any member of the Junior Service League of Rome or online at www.jslofrome.com.

The poinsettias will be available for pick-up at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds in Rome on Friday, November 30th and Saturday, December 1st from 8 am to 3 pm both days.
Free delivery is available for orders over $150.  Fifty percent of each order is tax deductible.
