ISAKSON NOT IN SUPPORT OF OBAMACARE EMPLOYER PENALTY
The Patient Protection and Affordable Healthcare Act (also known as Obamacare) is not only changing the face of healthcare, it also changing the way some do business.
According to the Affordable Care Act, if an employer has more than 50 employees, that employer must furnish health care for all those employees or face a penalty.
US Senator Johnny Isakson indicates that a fine will be imposed upon those businesses that do not comply with the measure, a rule with which Isakson does not agree.
The employer penalty is expected to go into effect in the year 2014.
