INCLEMENT FORECAST DOES NOT STOP ’19 CAVE SPRING ARTS FESTIVAL FROM GOING FORWARD AS PLANNED

Written by Matt Davis on June 10, 2019. Posted in News/Weather

An inclement forecast did not stop the 2019 Cave Spring Arts Festival from going on as planned over the weekend at Rolater Park.  The annual event is a fundraiser for the Cave Spring Historical Society.  Proceeds go to the upkeep of historic facilities such as the park, the Hearn Academy and the cave, states member Billy Wayne Abernathy.

Fellow society member Callie Fricks asserts that events like the Arts Festival also draw attention to the merchants in downtown Cave Spring.

Coming attractions in Cave Spring, Georgia include the community’s annual Independence Day celebration which will include fireworks on the evening of Saturday, June 29th as well as the annual Independence Day parade set for the morning of Thursday, July 4th
