The Harbin Clinic will present a Hike Through History this Friday at Myrtle Hill Cemetery.  The event, slated for 11 am until 2 pm, will highlight Historic Preservation Month; it has been planned in conjunction with the Downtown Development Authority and the Historic Preservation Commission.

Guided health walks will be led by local athletic trainer Brian Price starting at 11 am, noon and 1 pm, according to media release from the Harbin Clinic.  Russell McClanahan will give historic tours of the cemetery at 11:30 am and 12:30 pm.  Attendees may walk the path at any time during the hike.

Food truck favorites from the area, including Speakcheesy, El Venado, Swift & Finch and Runnin’ Wild, will be on site.  The Barbaric Yawps will perform an acoustic set.

Parking for the event will be available at River Dog Outpost, 1 Broad Street; handicapped parking will be at the Myrtle Hill Mausoleum.
