HAWKS EDGED BY PELICANS IN NEW ORLEANS

The Atlanta Hawks were edged by the New Orleans Pelicans 106-105 on Monday night in New Orleans.

Darius Miller hit four 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to lift the Pelicans to victory; he scored a total of 21 points on the night.  E’Twaun Moore tied a career high to lead all players in scoring with 24 points.  DeMarcus Cousins added 22 points and 16 rebounds.

Atlanta was led in scoring by Kent Bazemore, who notched 22 points.  Tyler Cavanaugh added 16 points off the bench.

The Hawks are now 2-12 on the season.  They’ll return to the Philips Arena in Atlanta to host the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night.
