GREATER ROME CHAMBER HOLDS 101ST ANNUAL MEETING

Written by Matt Davis on January 27, 2012. Posted in News/Weather

The Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce held their 101st Annual Meeting at The Forum in downtown Rome last night.  J. Mac Holladay, Founder and CEO of Market Street Services served as the guest speaker.  The gavel was passed from 2011 Chairman of the Board Dr. Greg Sumner to the 2012 Chair, Angie Lewis, President and CEO of Citizens First Bank.
Lewis says she is looking forward to a prosperous 2012.
While the Chamber’s goal as a whole this year is to bring jobs and prosperity to the community, Lewis says her job is to pull it all together.

The Chamber also presented awards at last night’s Annual Meeting.  Right at Home of Northwest Georgia was honored as Small Business of the Year.  Zach Green with Edward Jones was named Ambassador of the Year.  And the Wesley Johnson Leadership Award went to Harry Brock, who actually won the award back in May.
